3D Printing for Beginners Workshop

J-ST3PS offers a ‘3D Printing for beginners workshop’, a 1.5 hours long workshop that takes you and your colleagues through the various 3D printing methods, materials and techniques available. At the end, every attendee will have gone through a full 3D printing production process and is from then on a beginner in the art of 3D printing!
What to expect in the workshop?
Block 1: general theory (~50 minutes)

- Various interesting use cases of 3D printing.
Block 2: hands-on slicing and printing (~20 minutes)
- Introduction to the slicer environment.
- Setting up a new machine.
- Loading a 3D model.
- Investigating important process settings.
- Slicing the part.
- Uploading the part from computer to printer.
- Printing the part in the background.
Block 3: tips and tricks built up over the years. (~20 minutes)
- Reflecting on block 2.
- Overview of important settings.
- Important lessons.
- 3D printing design considerations.
- Good to know facts.
